Refund and Cancellation Policy

Canceling

Cancel any time from Dashboard → Billing → Manage subscription (the Stripe customer portal). Cancellation is online, takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and requires no email, call, or explanation. You keep access through the end of the period you paid for. Canceling FrugalAI does not affect your separate model-provider accounts or their charges.

Before each renewal of an annual plan we email a reminder that identifies the plan, the renewal date and price, and how to cancel. If we change your plan's fee, we will notify you, with cancellation instructions, no less than 7 and no more than 30 days before the change takes effect.

Refunds

• Monthly plans: fees are not refundable; canceling stops future renewals.
• Annual plans: if you cancel within 30 days of your first annual charge, we refund the unused portion pro-rata. After 30 days, annual fees are not refundable, but cancellation stops renewal.
• Billing errors and duplicates: always refunded in full. Email support@frugalai.io.
• Failed provisioning: if you paid and the Service was never provisioned for you, we refund in full.
• SLA credits: governed by the SLA, issued as credits, not cash.
• Downgrades: take effect at your next renewal; we do not refund the difference mid-cycle.
• Free tier: no fees, nothing to refund; we may modify or discontinue it per the Terms.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe, normally within 10 business days. Where a specific law gives you a non-waivable refund right, that law prevails.

Disputes

If a charge looks wrong, contact support@frugalai.io before disputing with your card issuer; we resolve billing errors quickly, and chargebacks freeze the account while they are investigated.
