FrugalAI is in an owner-only production beta. Three rollout modes make routing progressively more active only after a workload has observable cost and quality evidence, with evaluation running as a continuous guardrail rather than a stage.
Requests pass through unchanged while FrugalAI records cost, attribution, and counterfactual routes.
Only auto or unpinned requests can route under the approved policy and fallback chain.
Policy applies to the workload. A configured SLO breach rolls the gateway back to monitor.
Not a rollout stage: sampled evaluation runs continuously inside assist and enforce, and a breached quality floor returns the workload to monitor.
